Still Looking...
As you know, David "Mike" Bourne (or whatever his real name is...) has been on a mission of undefined detail and significance for an extended period. Reports have suggested that he had successfully infiltrated a rival medical facility nearby and made friendly contact with expatriates for reasons largely unknown at this time. A poll of previous associates reveals, however, that this is "Mike's" Modus Operandi, interspersing random tasks and communications into his daily activities in order to obscure his true motives or missions and make it difficult to track his true objectives. Of particular curiosity is the repeated mention of a bad router and being "off the grid." Although this is surely possible, Bourne's background is documented to include many years in the computer and networking field. Those close to him have revealed that he was offered a replacement router for free but turned down the offer. Bourne reports still being "off the grid" even today. Odd, given all the circumstances.
There are other quirks to his story. For example, "Mike" (David) recently underwent an apparently innocent reconstructive surgery to transfer tissue from his leg and ear to assist with an alleged eye injury. While the procedure is widely accepted, various agencies have suggested that Bourne may have spearheaded single-handedly a human research project which would allow him to use these bits of tissue to not only look into keyholes for visual reconnoitering and information gathering, but also employ transplanted tissues to assist with and enhance his ability to gather audible intelligence without turning his head.
Sources have further suggested that the leg tissues were incorporated for other reasons not apparent at first review. When questioned at length, sports medicine specialists admit that leg tissues, which employ Type II Fast Twitch muscle fibers, have been introduced into the eye area, could indeed be used in order to dope the normal Type I Slow Twitch muscle fibers, thus giving Bourne the super-ability to appear to be sleeping with eyes closed, but in reality, rapidly open the left eye to gather visual information and then close the eye at rates that can go undetected by normal human eye function by those with only Type I Slow Twitch muscle fiber in the uncompromised human eye. If confirmed, Bourne would then be able to, in effect, have stealth measures that would require no mechanical or physically detectable apparatus.
Attempts to contact Bourne remain unsuccessful. Calls to his residence this morning were met with "I'm sorry. He is asleep." Given the information above, one can only wonder...
